Tooth-Colored Fillings

Fillings are the most common procedure done by general dentists. Tooth-colored composite restorations are bonded to teeth and can replace tooth structure lost to cavities, wear, and fractures. Because bonding helps to keep the filling in the tooth, teeth can be prepped much more conservatively than you could with silver amalgam fillings, preserving more of your natural tooth structure. With nearly 20 custom shades most restorations can blend almost invisibly into your tooth. These materials are set with a curing light in just a few seconds, so you can eat and drink immediately after they are placed.
